According to recent reports, the mandatory implementation of the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) will not take place, as originally planned, on July 1, 2024. The decision was announced by the Finance Ministry, however, stressing that the new date has not yet been set.

The Finance Ministry decided to postpone the introduction of KSeF due to the technical and IT problems detected, which require in-depth analysis. Although the ministry stresses its desire to implement the system as soon as possible, the exact date will be announced after an audit of the work done so far.

As a reminder, the KSeF was initially to be mandatory for active VAT taxpayers as of July 1, 2024, and for VAT-exempt taxpayers as of January 1, 2025, according to current legislation.
